IRONFALL Invasion is a third-person sci-fi shooter, available to download from Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS family systems, including Nintendo 2DS. IRONFALL Invasion contains some free content, allowing you to try out the game by playing the first mission of the adrenaline-pumping campaign or local and online multiplayer clashes with one arena, one character and two weapons. You can choose to expand your enjoyment with the purchasable IRONFALL Invasion: Campaign or IRONFALL Invasion: Multiplayer modes, available to purchase separately from within the game, or together as a bundle.
In IRONFALL Invasion: Campaign, join the resistance and reclaim Earth from an army of invaders who won’t go down without a fight! Take aim at the menacing Dyxides, an alien civilisation that has seized control of the planet. With the numbers stacked against you and a relentless war raging wherever you go, make careful use of cover and find vantage points to advance upon your enemies. Use a wide range of weapons to fight your cause and take back the planet at all costs!
In IRONFALL Invasion: Multiplayer, jump into intense battles with up to six players in local and online multiplayer matches. Face all the other players at once in a free-for-all frenzy, or work together in teams of two or three.
THE CHARACTERS
JIM wOPER
Born in Illinois on 8 September 1980. Jim was lieutenant in the US Marine Corps before he joined IronFall, right at the start of the resistance movement. He is a veteran with extensive experience in the field, but he is starting to lose hope of ever winning the war.
He is one of the few to possess a fully functional set of EX16 exoskeleton armour, a legacy from his days in the marines.
Samantha Finch
Born in New York City on 22 March 1986. Before the invasion, Sam was an NYPD detective. She met Jim years before, and after a brief dalliance, they stayed friends. It was Jim who asked her to join IronFall. Dynamic and forward-looking, Sam still believes in victory for Earth. She would love to get her hands on EX16 and be at the heart of the fight.
Victor Lewis
Born in California on 12 January 1991, Victor came from a poor background and joined the armed forces as soon as he was old enough. He befriended Jim in the Marines and followed him into IronFall after the alien invasion.
He is currently convalescing after an injury in the field several weeks ago, which also damaged his EX16. Though he lost nearly everyone he knew and loved when California was ravaged during the invasion, he is young and passionate, and has never doubted that humanity will eventually prevail.
